HC recase, rear with inset European cut diamond weighing approximately 0.25 ct at center, front with initialed shield, gold cuvette, fancy pink and white enamel SS impressed dial with gold and silver foil highlights, blue glass insets at 5-minute positions, fancy gilt Louis XV style hands, SW-LS, non-magnetic alloy balance with blued hairspring, frosted and nickel damascene, s#4299266. Gross weight of assembled watch 99.0 dwt (154.0 g). A notably beautiful multicolor gold hunting case with a substantial and very impressive in-hand presence.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running though upon initial winding the crown retracted releasing mainspring tension several times before proceeding to advance winding mechanism normally suggesting a likely occasional issue with winding mechanism click engagement, overhaul recommended to correct this issue, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical mild micro-fine scratches; dial with hl at 3:30; excellent hands; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail, case front not opening under its own power as hinge seems stiff causing lid to need manual opening, cuvette with some marks to a portion of its outer surface caused by trace-through of its serial number stamping; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
ESTIMATE: $3000 - $4400
